Android SDK

I am sending and receiving the files in an Android app. But the received file gets downloaded to the SendAnywhere directory. Is it possible to change that through the SDK? Also, on the device, do we need the SendAnywhere app installed?

    Hi,
You can change the receiving directory.
When you create receive task, the third factor "File destDir"is the destination directory.
ReceiveTask(Context context, String key, File destDir)

If you're using your app with our SDK integrated on the device, Send Anywhere does not need to be installed on the device.

However, regarding the sending and receiving devices, there are 3 possible scenarios.

    Sending device - Receiving device
    1) Your app(SA integrated) - SA app
    2) SA app - Your app
    3) Your app - Your app
